These terms apply to the Ananta website and the Ananta web app. Ananta is provided by Bhavesh Shyam Magnani, Maharashtra, India (“we”). By using Ananta you agree to these terms.

The service

Ananta is a chess training app. The free version includes games against the engine, puzzles, game review, tournaments and events. Ananta Pro adds extra training features. We may improve, change or retire features over time.

Ananta Pro passes on the website

A web Pro pass is a one-time payment for 1 month or 12 months of Pro in your browser. It does not renew automatically. After payment you receive a Pro key, which unlocks Pro in a browser where it is entered. The key is for your personal use: please do not share, publish or resell it. Keys that are shared publicly may be blocked in a future update.

Ananta Pro in the Android app

Pro in the Android app is a separate monthly subscription sold through Google Play, under Google Play’s terms. A web pass does not unlock the Android app, and the Android subscription does not unlock the website.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (other countries). We never receive your card, UPI or bank details. Prices include any taxes we are required to charge.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload, copy for resale or reverse engineer the paid parts of Ananta, and do not use Ananta for anything unlawful.

Content and licences

The Ananta name, logo, design and texts belong to us. Stockfish is free software under the GNU GPL v3 (see the Stockfish page); puzzles come from the Lichess puzzle database (CC0).

No guarantee

Ananta is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but engine evaluations and advice can be wrong, and the service may sometimes be unavailable.

Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Ananta is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
